Red Line 10w60 High-Performance Oil Quartz is a high-performance engine oil used for newer BMW M-cars applications like E46 / E90/2/3 M3, E39 / E60 M5 and E63 M6. You can use this oil for extreme on-track temperatures or in older rocker-arm engines. It is one of the alternatives to TWS 10W60 oil that was used in the 2001-2013 Z4M, MZ3, M6, M5, and M3. The base stock that Red Line uses for its oil products helps to withstand higher temperatures and stress than other oils. For better compatibility with factory emissions equipment, Red Line has appropriate levels of anti-wear additives and ash content. It is recommended that you change the oil every 5,000-6,000 miles, especially if your engine is working on a regular basis.
